Marsala: The 2015 Color of the Year

According to Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, “Marsala is a subtly seductive shade, one that draws us in to its embracing warmth. While Radiant Orchid, the captivating 2014 color of the year, encouraged creativity and innovation, Marsala enriches our mind, body and soul, exuding confidence and stability,” The Color of the Year is often chosen based on its use in fashion and Marsala is no different. Equally appealing to men and women, Marsala is flattering against many skin tones, yet, still adds a hint of sophistication through apparel, interior designs, décor and more.
Furthermore, as a natural tone, Marsala is a versatile shade that complements a variety of palettes.
