Let the spotlight shine on you in 2015!

Each year, event industry specialists from across the globe compete for one of our 14 coveted Spotlight Awards. In 2014, we were flooded with entries from many talented individuals and companies who experienced stellar years in 2013.

As the awards season approaches once again, we want to introduce you to each of the nominees and finalists who were recognized as some of the best in the industry. This could be you by this time next year!

We start with the Technical Support Company of the Year award, which is presented to a technical support company that has exhibited outstanding achievements in the technical aspects of event services support. This includes lighting, sound, entertainment, multimedia, décor, logistics, and special effects. Our nominees for this category were Corser, Inc. and No Static AV.

Corser, Inc.

A lighting, video production, and staging company, Corser Inc. focuses on helping clients tell their unique story through the course of an event. Corser, Inc. achieves this through visual storytelling within an immersive experience created with Barco 2-D and 3-D projection mapping, intelligent lighting and 3-D sound experiences.

In 2013, Corser Inc. was the event producer and organizer for the Safeway Foundation’s Annual Gala, one of the largest build events in the San Francisco Bay Area. As nearly 2,600 guests arrived they moved through a tunnel into the dining tent, where 22 Barco projectors and more than 140 moving performance lights were installed. Corser Inc. also projected all stage events onto the 440-foot-long ceiling so all guests had a close viewing of presentations and entertainment.

No Static AV

No Static AV is dedicated to creating a quality environment for its clients of both special events and permanent installations. The company collaborates with designers, event planners, consultants, architects and general contractors early in the design process and throughout implementation.

2013 was the year that the company provided audio visual services to the Adobe Max Bash which took place at LA Live and surrounding streets. The client, Special Occasions Event Planning, created a street market with multiple international styles of dining and a circular bar with performers suspended overhead assisting bartenders with passing cocktails and napkins to guests. To the separate venues within the event, No Static AV provided multiple DJ Monitors, mixers and stands, Mackie 1608 Digital iPads, multiple Black EV SX 300s, several EV SX 250s with IEC, a couple of Technics SL 120M5G turntables, Pioneer CDJ1000 MK3 CD Players, and Pioneer DJM800 Mixers. They also handled all of the power distribution for sound and video through the event.

Next week we will introduce you to the winner in this category so be sure and tune in again!
